About the firm

Spółdzielnia Meblarska "RAMETA" ["RAMETA" Furniture Cooperative] is one of the leading manufacturers of furniture, and has been in business for 35 years. Initially, our firm dealt only with the production of upholstered furniture in a plant situated on 50 Królewska Street in Racibórz. In the following years "RAMETA" has continuously broadened its product range, investing simultaneously in new production facilities. Currently our firm possesses two production plants:

upholstery plant; a carpentry plant;
and a metalwork plant that also houses a galvanization shop and a powder paint shop.

We are proud of our technology and prototype departments, which develop furniture designs according to the latest fashion trends and our customers' demanding expectations. Additionally, if our customers want to order large amounts of products from us, we are ready to produce furniture according to their own specifications and designs.

We produce upholstered furniture, seating groups, corner sectionals, sofas, classical, swivel and auditorium chairs and armchairs, school furniture, and tables and beds for dormitories and boarding houses.

The quality and design of our furniture have been praised by our customers both at home and abroad, and we pride ourselves on exporting over 90% of what we produce.

Our furniture competes successfully in such demanding markets as those of Austria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Slovakia, the UK and Hungary. For more than 25 years we have cooperated with IKEA, which facilitates our continuing penetration of international markets.
